SC Housing's 2026 South Carolina Affordable Housing Summit is set for April 15-16, bringing together leaders, innovators, and advocates from across the state to tackle the challenges and opportunities shaping South Carolina’s housing landscape.

The 2026 version of the summit will feature keynote speakers, exhibitors, awards, and pertinent breakout sessions

The Summit will once again serve as the premier statewide gathering for sharing knowledge, celebrating progress, and building partnerships to expand affordable housing opportunities for all South Carolinians.

Final call for Housing Achievement Awards nominations

As a part of the 2026 South Carolina Affordable Housing Summit, the South Carolina Housing Achievement Awards will recognize outstanding contributions in the area of affordable workforce housing for low- and moderate-income South Carolinians.

The Housing Achievement Award honorees will be announced at the Summit, April 15-16, 2026 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

Individuals and organizations are eligible for nomination. The work honored must have resulted in affordable workforce housing in South Carolina.

Nominees must be in good standing with the SC State Housing Finance and Development Authority. Commissioners and Staff members of the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority are not eligible.

Please note the category for the nomination and fill out the attached nomination form. You may submit supporting documentation; however, it will not be returned. Include your name, address, as well as daytime telephone number.

Also, please include your nominee’s address and telephone number, with a contact person if applicable. Multiple nominations may be submitted, but nominees are limited to one category only. There is no nomination fee.

Please help us to recognize those groups and individuals who help keep housing available and affordable in SC.

The deadline for all entries is Friday, Feb. 27, 2026.
