SC Housing awards $9.2 million in funding to Disaster Assistance Program applicants
Columbia, SC – SC Housing has awarded $9.2 million in funding to municipalities and counties across South Carolina to aid in the ongoing recovery from extreme weather events. These funds, provided through the Housing Trust Fund Disaster Assistance Program (HTF DAP), will support home repairs for low-income homeowners whose properties were damaged by severe weather and not covered by insurance.
The $9.2 million will be distributed among six cities and five counties, with funding allocated as follows:
