Toby Goodlett was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in April 2026 as Governor Henry McMaster’s designee. He has over two decades of experience in the mortgage banking industry holding various executive leadership roles that span South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Retail Services Executive for Raleigh-headquartered First Citizens Bank where he is responsible for sales finance and the mortgage division. Goodlett’s progression through the leadership ranks of First Citizens Bank began when he first joined the institution in 2000
