Sponsors may begin submitting applications for the Housing Preservation Initiative as of July 1, 2026. Any “open” projects submitted through the Housing Trust Fund’s (Legacy) Home Repair (HRP) and Critical Home Repair (CHRP) Programs MUST be completed using the legacy program requirements. Limitations on the number of open projects allowed in the legacy programs will apply under the Housing Preservation Initiative.
