NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD 

2026 DRAFT QUALIFIED ALLOCATION PLAN (QAP)

Notice is hereby given that the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority (SC Housing) will receive public comment on SC Housing’s proposed 2026 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) to be used in making allocations of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit pursuant to Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. A virtual public hearing has been scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (ET). The meeting will be held telephonically via ZoomGov. A draft copy of the 2026 QAP is available for review at schousing.sc.gov.  Written comments about the 2026 QAP will be accepted beginning Thursday, October 16 through Wednesday, October 29, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. (ET). Comments should be submitted in writing to the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority (SC Housing), Attention: Kim Wilbourne, Multifamily Development Director, 300-C Outlet Pointe Boulevard, Columbia, South Carolina, 29210, or email Taxcreditquestions@schousing.com.
