2026 South Carolina HTF-Housing Preservation Initiative Workshop

The SC Housing Trust Fund is offering an in-person workshop to provide training and an overview of the South Carolina Housing Trust Fund (HTF) Housing Preservation Initiative (HPI) programmatic home repair changes which went into effect July 1, 2026. The workshop will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm at the South Carolina State Museum in the Vista Room (2nd Floor). Registration in advance is required. The HPI Manual, Application, Application Checklist, Forms, and Appendices are published to the SC Housing Trust Fund webpage.

Workshop Training Includes 

• Overview of Housing Preservation Initiative (HPI)-programmatic home repair updates made effective July 1, 2026.
• Nonprofit Participation Certification Application process-open to existing approved Sponsors and all interested organizations and local governments.
• Housing Preservation Initiative Construction Standards

Who Should Attend
Existing HTF Housing Preservation Initiative (HPI) Approved Sponsors and organizations/local governments interested in becoming an approved HPI Sponsor.  Due to limited seating capacity, SC Housing recommends a maximum of two (2) registrations for each organization.
