The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 appropriated $5 billon to communities across the U.S. to assist individuals and households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or are members of other vulnerable populations to provide affordable housing opportunities for such at risk populations. SC Housing is excited to announce the launch of its HOME-ARP Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) and Supportive Services Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Funding will be available for Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) in 2026 through a non-competitive funding cycle. $12 million has been allocated to TBRA activities and $1.3 million has been allocated to Supportive Services activities. The deadline to submit an application is October 30, 2026. SC Housing will host a Q & A technical assistance webinar on September 23, 2026, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (ET) to answer questions about the application process. Click here to register.
